Not For Sale’s presence in Canada has been through supporter engagement, awareness events, and fundraising. Canada is both a source and destination country for trafficking, with forced labor documented in agriculture, food processing, construction, and domestic work. Sex trafficking affects Indigenous women and girls disproportionately.
Not For Sale’s global work, from Peru to Thailand to the Netherlands, is supported in part by Canadian donors and partners. As a major consumer economy and commodity importer, Canada’s supply chains connect directly to the regions where Not For Sale operates.
