Coastal Prevention

Not For Sale’s people work in Mozambique operates through the same sport-based prevention model deployed in South Africa, reaching at-risk youth in Tofo and other coastal communities. Mozambique is a source, transit, and destination country for trafficking, with poverty, conflict in the north, and climate vulnerability driving displacement.

What We Do

Not For Sale Mozambique uses sport, mentorship, and livelihood training to reach children and young adults at the point of vulnerability, before traffickers do. The model mirrors South Africa: sport creates the entry point, trust builds the relationship, skills training builds the pathway to independence.

The extensive outreach reach (84,330 people) reflects the scale of community-level prevention programming, engaging entire communities in awareness, early intervention, and connection to support before trafficking occurs.
