Making a Difference: How New Ideas and Businesses are Helping Our Mission

2.2 MIN READ

Not For Sale is taking a bold new approach in 2013 to stop human trafficking and exploitation. Today, we are releasing this video to share our fresh ideas. By focusing on new ways of thinking and starting businesses with a purpose, we are finding better ways to make a lasting impact.

A New Way of Thinking

At Not For Sale, we are working toward a world where no one is exploited. We realize that just giving help isn’t enough. This video shares our plan to use creative ideas and business strategies to stop the causes of trafficking.

We believe that stopping poverty and giving people better opportunities can prevent trafficking. By helping communities grow and thrive, we aim to stop trafficking before it even starts.

Success Stories: REBBL and Dignita

Our new approach is already leading to amazing projects like REBBL and Dignita. These show how businesses can make a difference while also doing good.

  • REBBL: What began as a small idea to help communities in the Peruvian Amazon rainforest is turning into a global drink company. REBBL makes sure its ingredients come from farmers who are paid fairly and work in safe conditions. Part of the company’s profits goes back to support our projects, making an even bigger impact.
  • Dignita: In Amsterdam, we are working to launch Dignita, a restaurant that does more than serve tasty food. We aim to provide job training and employment to survivors of trafficking and people at risk. This helps them build new lives while also teaching customers about the issue.

Why Start Businesses?

Starting businesses is helping us tackle the bigger problems that lead to trafficking. These businesses:

  • Bring in money to fund anti-trafficking work
  • Create steady jobs for people who need them
  • Encourage people to buy products that support good causes

These businesses do more than just help survivors. They are showing that companies can be kind, successful, and make the world better.

A Big Moment

This video marks an exciting step for us in 2013. It signals the start of something big. We are changing our approach to make a bigger impact, and we’re just getting started.

This shows that fighting human trafficking takes more than kindness. It takes bold ideas, teamwork, and the courage to think differently.

How You Can Help

Our work is only beginning. You can join this mission by supporting our businesses, donating, or sharing our story. Together, we can build a world where no one is for sale.
