Dr. David Batstone

Dr. David Batstone wrote Not For Sale: The Return of the Global Slave Trade, the investigation that became the organization he co-founded with Mark Wexler in 2007. The book began close to home, after he learned that a restaurant he ate at regularly in the Bay Area was operating as a front for a local trafficking ring. He has since published peer-reviewed research on trafficking in global supply chains and is Faculty Emeritus at the University of San Francisco School of Management, where he taught for more than two decades. He is the co-founder of Just Business, REBBL, and Regenerate Technology Global.
