These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Not For Sale website (wearenotforsale.org), any related subdomains, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the “Site”). Not For Sale is a U.S.-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to ending modern-day slavery and ecocide through direct intervention, research, and social innovation.
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Donor Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Use of the Site
2.1 Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Site for lawful purposes only and in a manner consistent with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. You may not:

- Upload, share, or distribute content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, threatening, or that infringes on the rights of others

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized use of your account, please contact us immediately.
3. Donations and Payments
3.1 Donations
Donations made to Not For Sale are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law under our 501(c)(3) status. Donations are generally considered final. However, Not For Sale understands that errors occur and is happy to issue refunds upon request. To request a refund, donors may visit the Manage My Donation section or contact us by email at team@wearenotforsale.org. Refunds are typically processed within 7 to 10 business days, depending on the original payment method and processor.
3.2 Recurring Donations
If you sign up for a recurring donation, you authorize Not For Sale (or its third-party payment processor) to charge your selected payment method at the agreed frequency. You may modify, pause, or cancel your recurring donation at any time by logging into your donor account or by contacting us.
3.3 Donation Acknowledgment
All donations receive an acknowledgment receipt suitable for tax-deduction purposes. Not For Sale’s Employer Identification Number (EIN) is available upon request. For stock donations, see our donate page. For employer matching, visit our employer matching tool.
3.4 Currency
All donation amounts displayed on the Site are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise indicated. If you donate in another currency, your financial institution’s exchange rate and any applicable fees will apply.
4. Donor Privacy
Not For Sale is committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of its donors. Our donor privacy practices are described in full in our Donor Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. In summary: Not For Sale will not sell, share, or trade donor names or personal information with any other entity. All donor information is used solely for purposes consistent with the mission and activities of Not For Sale.
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Ownership
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, photographs, videos, data, software, and design — is the property of Not For Sale or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. The Not For Sale name, logo, and associated marks are registered or unregistered trademarks of Not For Sale.
5.2 Limited License
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any content from the Site without prior written permission from Not For Sale.

Not For Sale may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or organizational operations.
